About Blues for Peace

Blues for Peace was established in to honor the roots of blues music, promote peace and the understanding that ALL peoples have had their share of the blues. The Blues for Peace slogan says... "And they shall beat their swords into guitars"

BFP events have included an evening of "Blues and Ethiopian Music", "Blues Bash" for a People to People group (Eisenhower Foundation) that toured Israel, Jordan and Lebanon, and a "Faith, Hope and the Blues" concert in Jerusalem at which Arnie Lawrence performed.
