More than the Delta fields that gave it birth. More than Chicago with it's winds that gave it flight. More than the children it spawned - B. B., Muddy, the Wolf, Willie, Chester and John lee. More than its followers - Stevie, Eric and Jimi. . . and you and me. . . When we first encounter The Blues it can be a moving And even a life-defining experience. For some it may be a cry in the night, For others the finding or loss of that one true love Or for some, the reality of eternal emptiness. Whatever brings us to The Blues, Once we arrive there we understand Without words. It's the heartbeat of life. It's the song of joy, It's the cry of pain, It's the unmistakable touch of love. It's the naked truth that cleans the soul and sets your heart free. * * * * * I guess if you write enough songs, read enough books, stop and really listen to what people have to say and live life, you become a poet. I suppose I'm guilty, and willing to do the time for those charges. More specifically, I am a blues guitarist/ singer/songwriter and sometimes bassist. I am currently putting together a solo act, having been tired of the band scene after all these years.
