In 2002 a group of musicians decided to give birth to a project they have
been dreaming about for a long time. The idea was to create a band that would
provide them with a chance of doing something they really love. Since then, the band has
performed at the "Summer Blues Festival" in Tel Aviv, Givatayim Theater, International
Women's Film Festival, Bella Shlomkins and other blues concerts and clubs.
Led by guitar player Itsik Friedman, Singer Harold Mymoni and Bass player,
Constantin adelkind, Trask set on a gourney to explore the blues. Trask's
dynamic stage performance showcases original songs by the band, as well as blues
classics from Robert Johnson to B.B. king.
From bars to festivals, TRASK thrills their audiences with a combination of
passion, energy and honesty. Their music is never a re-creation of sounds from
the past, but rather an updated, vital celebration of the Blues as the
soundtrack of real life.
Lately TRASK has gained some recogniston in the Israeli music industry and
has been chosen to represent Israel in the upcoming International Blues
Challenge (IBC) in Memphis, TN, January 2007. Over 100 bands will compete
for $25,000 in cash and prizes and the title "Best Unsigned Blues Band". The
event is sponsored by the Blues Foundation (www.blues.org) which serves over 100 affiliated
blues organizations and thousands of members worldwide.
THE PEOPLE
Harold Mimoni - VOCALS
At the age of 38, Harolds musical career dates way back. As the bands
vocalist, his trade-mark is his unique vocal abilities which many consider, put
him in a league of his own.
Harolds voice reminds people very much of voices
of great musical legends such as Bob Dylan, and his total lack of any accent
makes it hard for people to believe his familiy originaly came from Maroko.
Itsik Friedman - GUITAR & VOCALS
Itsik (37) picked up his first guitar at the age of 10. It was not long
before he started learning solos from guitar heros like Jimmy Page, Eddy
Van-Halen, Gary Moore and others.Studying in Rimon Musical Institute and working
in verious productions over the years, Itsik never neglected his dream to create
a band that will be on a totally differant level - TRASK.
Itsik is the
musical director of the band, and his rich and warm guitar sound, along with
Harold's unique voice are rapidly becoming the bands trademark.

Kostya, ko
founder of the band, is the bands administrator and takes care of all the
"behind the scene" stuff. He is basically the back-bone of the band.
Yair Ben-Simon - DRUMS
