Tel Aviv Blues Festival, a weekend of Blues and Soul featuring top Israeli Blues and Rock artists - Free concerts at the beginning and end of each night, late night and jam sessions into the wee hours!!!

In honor of summer, and on the heels of last year’s success, the Givatayim Theater presents a weekend of Blues. This year the fun continues, with the cream of the crop blues and rock musicians and a few guests from overseas!!!

A Blues show for children

“The Enchanted Blues Adventure”
with One man band Paul Moore - an extraordinary experience for children and adults alike. Veteran Jazz Blues and Novelty performer Paul Moore presents a show encompassing  American musical roots such as Jazz, Blues, and Folk using games and humor to reach young audiences Paul’s show includes active audience participation – bringing children on stage to play a myriad of exotic percussion instruments and curios from Paul’s collection. He plays Ukelele, Ukelele Banjo, Washboard, Kazoo, Teapot, Washtub Bass, Suitcase Drum, and many other exotic and unusual objects and instruments

"Black and White" 
Danny Sanderson presents an evening dedicated to the golden years of Blues, R n B, Soul and Mowtown. Danny Sanderson gives tribute to his first love – the guitar, and his musical roots. Performing songs of the Temptaions, Cream, Johnny Winter, Aretha Franklin and others, Danny sings in English and plays guitar, including some of his own original material as well.

The colorful and ebullient singer Candye Kane – a diva and Blues singer, joins the Ronnie Peterson Blues Band on her second visit to Israel to “wow” the crowds with her humor and stage show

"Danny Shoshan and The Blues Messengers with Dan Toren" 
Chelly Sigalski’s talented band the Blues Messengers with singer Danny Shoshan and guest star Dan Toren perform some classic Blues, R & B and original songs.

"Miki Shaviv Trio with guests Mika Karni and Avi Greinek" 
A special show of Hebrew Blues written and arranged by Miki Shaviv, accompanied by the popular singer Mika Karni and comic actor and musician Avi Greinek in a special show incorporating all their unique talents.

"Jam Session" - Opening act: “One O' Five” 
A tribute to Janis Joplin, with singer Saar Luban singing the hits of the legendary Blues - rock singer Janis Joplin

Saturday, 17.7.04 at 24:00 HRS 
“Eyes in the Blues” - An exhibit of photographs of the Blues experience – performers on stage, audience, places and other images that convey the theme of the blues. The exhibit officially opens with the opening of the SummerBlues Festival on July 15, 2004.
