Blues for Peace participated in the International Guitar Festival recently held at Einav Center in Tel Aviv. The show presented acoustic blues in various styles from Ragtime to Chicago blues to an enthusiastic crowd. Performers included some of Israel's leading blues musicians - Eli Marcus, Dov Hammer, Danny Zukerman, Yuval Oz, Gor Delta Junior, Yair Fine, Opher Linden, Johnny Mayer, Yonat Meir and Shlomi on the drums.

Eli Marcus, bluesman, organized and hosted the show that was taped for future broadcast on Israeli television. The TV show includes an interview with Eli Marcus and Johnny Mayer about Blues for Peace and the blues life in Israel.

Johnny Mayer set up Blues for Peace in Israel to honor the roots of blues music, promote peace and the understanding ALL peoples have had their share of the blues.
