Blues Cruise on the Sea of Galilee with SOBO band playin' blues and rock music.. a midnight "Blues Cruise" for 100 people having a great time on a Birthright Israel program. The SOBO band was hot and so was the weather... the crowd kept on dancing until the boat reached the shore! The Blues Cruise was produced by Blues for Peace.

The SOBO band from Jerusalem (above) is a blues rock trio that has a unique sound and feel. The members are from the United States, Russia and Israel and the band plays orginal music and cover songs with their distinctive sound. SOBO has performed in Israel, Europe and Russia where they won a gold medal. In January, 2004, SOBO represnted Israel at the Blues Foundation's "International Blues Challenge".

How was the blues cruise? A participant on the blues cruise summed it up like this on the video shot on the boat... "I can't believe I'm in Israel, much less on the Sea of Galilee... it's the middle of the night and I'm listening to a blues band on a cruise boat... COOL!"
